Personal Skills
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 3+ years experience in enterprise software products, ideally in enterprise 2.0 applications
- Have excellent written and oral communication in both English and Italian and excellent presentation skills
- Have experience and a good understanding of SW product marketing activities and evolution
- Have proven ability to work with multiple internal teams, including marketing & sales departments
- Have a passion for technologies in general with a good grasp of web 2.0 and knowledge management technology trends
- Have at least one degree in Computer Science
- Be methodical and well-organised, able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a highly dynamic environment
- Be results-orientated and self-motivated.
Technical Skills
- Software Development and Frameworks: Java/J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlet, SOAP, Xml, Javascript, SQL, SOA, Web Services, J2EE Patterns, Struts, Spring, Hybernate
- System Administration and Databases: Linux, Unix, Apache, SSL, Websphere, JBoss, WebLogic, SQL Server, MySql, Postgres, Oracle databases
- Front end development: HTML, XHTML, XSLT, DOM, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, Flex
- Other competencies: Ruby on Rails, Php and user centred design.
Your Responsibilities
- We are looking for a talented software architect and system engineer able to work on the design and coordination of large complex projects in close relationships with our partners / vendors
- The successful candidate's main responsibility will be to manage OpenKnowledge software products, collaborating with an international team and working within tight deadlines
- He/She will support presales and sales activities including responses to inquiries, delivery of sales, creation of whitepapers, website contents, product demos
- He/She will be able to anticipate and understand the most recent technological trends in the Enterprise 2.0 market
- He/She will be a rockstar in skinning, customising, integrating and extending the functionalities of leading social software.
Conditions
- Full-time contract
- Salary: € 32.500 - € 39.500 Per Year
- Location: Milan with some travelling in Italy and abroad
