OpenKnowledge at Telligent Big Social

It’s been less than a month from the “Big Social“ the event on Social Business organized by Telligent in Dallas.

Breathing a different air, meeting companies, people and fresh ideas is certainly among the best memories kept from the Texas experience. Starting from the discounts on hamburgers if you check-in on Foursquare to the NFL match Dallas Cowboys – Washington Redskins (Cowboys won 18-16!!), where the huge screen is filled, in real time, with the stream of comments on the Cowboys’ official Facebook page.

The event itself, then, was rich in ideas, in particular sessions involving Texas Instruments for its B2B community and Gamestop for the excellent use of analytics to monitor, manage and evaluate the ROI of their consumer community.

What about Open Knowledge? We were there with a speech in the business track titled “Connecting the Social Business to Organizational Performance”. Paolo Calderari and Andrea Pesoli presented the experience of My Open community of the Legrand group, and showed the enormous potential of  a social network-based approach to community management.
You can find below the presentation.
